AML/CFT

Anti–money laundering (AML) refers to a set of laws, regulations and institutional practices designed to help financial institutions and other regulated entities prevent, detect, and report money laundering and related financial crime. In addition to regulatory and supervisory arrangements intended to ensure that banks and other relevant firms implement AML controls and file suspicious transaction reports, the AML policy framework typically also involves financial intelligence units and relevant law enforcement agencies.
