Intuit Inc. is an American financial technology company that develops financial software and services, including TurboTax and QuickBooks. Founded in 1983, the company is headquartered in Mountain View, California. It went public in 1993 and that year acquired ChipSoft, maker of TurboTax. The company later expanded with the acquisitions of Credit Karma and Mailchimp.
